Casteel Junior High and High School Choirs
Casteel has 9 choirs serving students in grades 7-12:
7 curricular courses and 2 club choirs
Colt Choir (gr 7-8) - beginning mixed choir, period 4
Angels of Music (gr 7-8) - intermediate girls' choir, period 6
Triple Threat (gr 8) - advanced mixed choir, period 5*
Forte (gr 9-12) - beginning/intermediate mixed choir, period 2
Dolce (gr 9-12) - advanced women's choir, period 1*
Chorale (gr 10-12) - advanced concert choir, period 3*
Encore (gr 10-12) - jazz choir/advanced chamber choir, period 0*
*periods 0,1,3,5 require an auditionMen of 'Steel (gr 7-12) - mens' choir, meets on Wednesdays during club time
Show Choir (gr 8-12) - mixed choir, meets on Fridays after school 2:30-4:00

Casteel Choir is a place where everybody belongs. Whether you are new to singing or have had years of training, there is a choir for you! Choir is a safe place where everyone will find a friend. It's a great place to meet people and make wonderful memories together.
Each curricular choir will perform at one concert each quarter and at least one festival a year. Chorale and Encore travel out of state, while the other groups compete in state.
If you're still not sure if choir is for you, come check it out! Talk with Mrs. Clausen or Mrs. Pearce or a choir student to learn more. We'd love to meet you!
