Casteel Choir Auditions
Auditions for Encore, Chorale, Dolce, and Triple Threat are held in May of each year for the following school year. To schedule an audition, see Mrs. Clausen in the choir room or email her. See "Contact Us" tab. 2026-27 Choir Auditions were held May 6-8, 2026 by individual appointment.
Auditions consist of singing the National Anthem, pitch matching exercises, range check, and sight-reading. Encore auditionees must also learn the jazz audition piece and sing chromatic and major scales in a swing pattern. Jazz audition packet was available in choir room April 23. Auditions were May 13.
